Health and Social Care Worker of the Week

At Jayco we are lucky to have such highly skilled and dedicated workers in all our sectors. This year we are bringing back worker of the week to reward them for all their hard work, the winner will receive a £50 Amazon gift voucher. As always, this award was extremely hard to give and it could have gone to a number of our workers. This weeks winner is Healthcare Assistant Memory Zata.

Memory has worked for us for around 4 years, her work is exceptional across the board. We never have any issues with her on shift, she is a hardworking and polite lady! She has recently been working for one of our supported living services, she is always willing to pick up extra shifts and always goes that extra mile to ensure service users are well cared for. She is pretty much part of their core team within that service now.

What does a Healthcare Assistant do?

A Healthcare Assistant supports the most vulnerable people in our society to live the most independent and fulfilling life possible. They provide individual care as required by each person they care for in order to meet and fulfil their personal needs whilst ensuring that each person's dignity and individuality is up held and their independence, choice and control is always promoted.
