Head Housekeeper

We are seeking out a highly skilled and experienced Head Housekeeper for our client based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining a clean and organized environment. They will also of had experience of managing a whole housekeeping team. As a Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the home are kept tidy and presentable.

Responsibilities:

· Manage, supervise, and lead the whole housekeeping team.

· Staff training and inductions.

· Managing rotas.

· Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.

· Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.

· Make beds and change linens.

· Empty trash and replace garbage bags.

· Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and towels.

· Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.

· Adhere to infection control protocols in hospital or commercial settings.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work preferred.

· Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

· Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.

· Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required.

· Flexibility to work different shifts including weekends and holidays if necessary.
