Client Spotlight - Accept Care

This week we shine a spotlight one of our longest standing clients, Accept Care. Accept Care are a supported living charity who deal with people with learning disabilities and mental health problems. They currently work with 54 service users across 3 sites in the North East, their latest CQC rating was ‘Good’ in all areas. Additionally, they offer a day service which focus’ on healthy living and support with completing everyday tasks, this is supported with their very own bespoke gym facility which is tailored to the individual needs of their clients.

As with all care facilities in the UK Accept Care have had to deal with the pandemic from the frontline.  Their team must ensure they are all wearing the correct PPE and following all government guidelines at all times. All the hard work from the staff has paid off with only 1 reported COVID case for the whole of last year which is no mean feat.

Accept Care have worked with Jayco for a number of years and we have an exceptional working relationship. We spoke to Tracy Daley (Accept Care, Operations Director) prior to this blog in order to get an understanding of the relationship between ourselves and Accept Care. Tracy said she that Jayco were good at listening to her organisation's needs and Jayco found suitable staff that care about their service users in the way in which Accept Care expect. Jayco also provided staff to join their permanent team from our temporary work bank, this was so they could join Accept Care support bubble to minimise the risk of cross infection. In terms of moving forward Tracy explained the main aim for 2021 was to keep everyone safe and to stay positive through keeping the current staff culture.
