Health and Social Care Worker of the Week

At Jayco we are lucky to have such highly skilled and dedicated workers in all our sectors. This year we are bringing back worker of the week to reward them for all their hard work, the winner will receive a £50 gift voucher. As always, this award was extremely hard to give and it could have gone to a number of our workers. However, only one person can win, and we are pleased to announce that Regini Jiby is this week’s winner.

Regini is a registered Nurse who came back in the new year from a period of absence and has been a constant support for one of our longest standing clients working the same pattern each week to give them stability and vital continuity of care. Regini always conducts herself in an extremely professional manner and is one of our most respected nurses. We have never had a complaint about Regini and likewise Regini has never once complained and took on all challenges the agency has ever put her way.

What does a registered Nurse do?

The main responsibilities of a Nurse are to ensure the care, welfare and safety of all residents in the home is of the highest possible standard. They will provide care based on their care plan and evaluate the needs of the resident whilst maintaining accurate records of resident’s care/condition and medication administration.They are all registered with a valid PIN.
