Health and Social Care Worker of the Week

At Jayco we are lucky to have such highly skilled and dedicated workers in all our sectors. This year we are bringing back worker of the week to reward them for all their hard work, the winner will receive a £50 Amazon gift voucher. As always, this award was extremely hard to give and it could have gone to a number of our workers. However, only one person can win, and we are pleased to announce that Anita Bhatti is this week’s winner.

Anita is a longstanding worker who actually took up a full-time role with one of our clients but came back to us at the back end of last year. Since returning to Jayco Anita has consistently worked with a number of clients, picking up additional work to help cover colleagues and clients last minute needs. Anita is always the first to offer herself for more work whenever possible and attitude is always extremely professional. Every single client she has worked with have always asked for her back. Since the start of December, she has also slotted into a rota with one of our clients working around the shifts that their only permanent nurse can’t cover.

What does a Registered Nurse do?

The main responsibilities of a Nurse is to ensure the care, welfare and safety of all residents in the home is of the highest possible standard. They will provide care based on their care plan and evaluate the needs of the resident whilst maintaining accurate records of resident’s care/condition and medication administration.They are all registered with a valid PIN.
