Introducing our new Business Manager for JAYCO Yorkshire
Why did you choose to join JAYCO?
I wanted to work for an innovative and growing company that could align its values and development with my person growth, I saw this in Jayco from day one. Jonathan the MD of the company has a huge vision for the company’s future and his enthusiasm and passion for the business burns brighter than ever in this period of exponential growth.
Could you describe your current job role and responsibilities?
As a business Manager, I will be running and overseeing all of the operations throughout the Halifax branch, this will include, recruiting, interviewing candidates, growing our client base throughout the whole of Yorkshire and building and motivating a sturdy team to assist me. I will be the face of JAYCO In Yorkshire and its down to me to lead from the front and show everyone how passionate we are about recruitment.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love to explore the outdoors when I can, I am a qualified mountain leader and have recently just got into open water swimming, I’m also a passionate CrossFitter and compete a few times a year to keep in shape.
What do you envisage for the future of JAYCO Yorkshire?
I will be building a great team at the Yorkshire branch which will allow us to become the best of the best in recruitment, it’s extremely exciting for myself to witness first-hand the very start of this incredible journey we have ahead of us.
Which sectors are you looking to work in?
Our main sectors will be focused around Health and Social care, Logistics and Industrial.
What do you believe are the main challenges in opening a new branch?
As a new branch we have to hit the ground running, its vital we gain and keep our momentum as a new branch and that’s exactly what I plan to do, as the saying goes a rolling stone gathers no moss.
What are you currently recruiting for?
We are recruiting internally as well as all of our candidate base which will be in the sectors mentioned above. Our Health and Social care recruitment team are looking for Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers and Nurses with at least 6 months paid UK experience to join our temporary work bank. We are also looking to add Recruitment Consultants and a Compliance Manager to our office team. All our live vacancies are available in the jobs sections of our website.
