Worker of the Month - August 2021

Every month at Jayco Recruitment, we like to reward our most hard working employees. We split the award into 3 categories Health care, Social Care and Internal (Office) worker, each winner will receive a £50 Amazon Voucher. The health and social care winners are chosen by our consultants who each nominate someone who they believe should win. After all the consultants have made their cases for their chosen candidates, they collectively decide as a team who is most deserving of these awards. The office award is chosen by the rest of the team who have an internal vote, in addition our Director Jonathan Coates has very generously said the office worker with the most worker of the month awards will receive an extra bonus at the end of the year.  

Our social care winner is Elizabeth Alderson! Liz is one of JAYCO’s hardest working Support Workers, who works for several different services on a weekly basis. Recently, Liz has also started to pick up shifts on her days off which we are very appreciative for as we have seen a sharp rise in demand from our clients in the social care sector. Alongside, her hard work she also is a great brand ambassador for JAYCO as she always recommends our agency to other Support Workers when they are looking new work. Finally, she also brought in some treats to the office earlier in the month which may of swung a few votes in her favour!

This month’s healthcare winner is Taofeek Ajasa, this award is long overdue. Taofeek is another extremely hard worker, he regularly picks up 6-7 care shifts a week, and we have to remind him to have a day off every once in a while! His work ethic is a credit to JAYCO. Taofeek was recently selected to work with one of our new clients in Bedlington. Thanks to him and our other Healthcare Assistants we now supply this home on a more regular basis.

Our office worker of the month is our Compliance Administrator Jenna Kelley. This month Jenna has gone above and beyond her usual job responsibilities as she has been busy gathering the vaccine statuses for all our Health and Social care workers which as you can imagine is very time consuming. Alongside, COVID-19 protocols Jenna has been leading candidate inductions before they go out to work to ensure they are fully aware of all JAYCO’s policies and procedures.
